Performance Physical Therapy in Dallas, TX
Break Free from Pain.
Get Back to What You Love.
One-on-one performance physical therapy for active adults in Dallas, no referrals, no insurance delays, no hand-offs.

From Rehabilitation to Performance
Whether you're dealing with a nagging injury or chasing a new performance goal, we offer the specialist care that gets you there.
The Difference One-on-One Actually Makes
Most PT clinics split your session between three patients, hand you off to an aide, and send you home with a generic sheet of exercises. Every session at Proximity Performance is 60 minutes, one-on-one, with Dr. Rever — focused entirely on you.
60-Minute, One-on-One Sessions
No aides. No shared time. Every minute is with Dr. Rever, focused on your specific goals and where you are in your recovery.
Root Cause, Not Just Symptoms
We find out why the pain keeps coming back — not just where it hurts — and build a plan that addresses the source.

Inside a Performance Gym
Located inside Dallas Performance Systems near SMU and Energy Square — so your rehab happens in an environment built for movement, not a clinical cubicle.
Cash-Based Direct Access
No referral needed. No insurance delays. HSA/FSA accepted. Superbills available for out-of-network reimbursement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about cash-based PT or what to expect? Here are the ones we hear most.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No referral needed. Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book a free phone consultation and get started without waiting on a physician order. We'll handle the evaluation and build your plan from there.
Why don't you accept insurance?
Insurance-based PT limits session length, dictates how many visits you get, and often requires shared time with an aide. Our cash-based model means 60-minute, one-on-one sessions with a doctor — every time. We provide superbills for patients who want to submit to their insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Will I have to stop my training during treatment?
In most cases, no. The goal is to keep you moving while we work on the underlying issue. We'll use progressive loading strategies to modify your training as needed — not shut it down — so you can stay active while your body recovers.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you're dealing with and your goals. After your initial 60-minute evaluation, Dr. Rever will give you a clear plan with realistic expectations — no open-ended commitments or vague timelines. Most patients have a defined path forward after the first session.
What makes this different from a regular PT clinic?
At most clinics, you see your PT for 10–15 minutes and spend the rest of the session with an aide. At Proximity Performance, every session is 60 minutes with Dr. Rever. Treatment happens inside a performance gym, the focus is root cause resolution, and the goal is getting you back to the activity you love — not just managing pain.
